There are several cross build systems out there which all try to solve one problem: cross compiling the Linux userspace for embedded systems. And while having different histories and different aims, they all have the same problems when it comes to fixing problems in the original packages.

send-patches.org is a collaboration project to gain synergies from the cross building efforts and to join forces in order to improve the upstream. It was started by buildroot and PTXdist, but is open to anybody, of course.
